SEMINAR SUBJECTS
DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY IN YOUR DENTAL PRACTICE:
THE HOW'S, THE WHY'S AND THE WHEREFORE'S
This seminar is typically a half-day seminar
that describes all of the basic needs and principals involved
with incorporating a digital photography system into the dentist's
office.
Restorative and cosmetic processes are
blended into the presentation demonstrating how digital photography
should be thought of as an adjunct to everyday treatment delivery,
as opposed to an entity unto itself.
Marketing of cosmetic dentistry is also
significant part of the presentation, covering such topics as
the cosmetic simulation, CAESY usage, Smile Vision, Do It Yourself
Cosmetic simulation software such as Dicom and SciCan Image FX
as well as use of magnification to enhance performance.
This seminar is a sure way to set the practitioner
on the proper course for digital photography practice integration. Click

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY: PRACTICE BUILDER
This seminar (typically a full day) hones
in on a recommended digital photography system but quickly moves
on to making the system become a practice builder.
Emphasis is placed on diagnosis and treatment
of asymptomatic coronal fractures expanding upon methods and
materials for increasing chair-side restorative productivity.
Also covered is the incorporation of digital images into case
presentation as well as the use of cosmetic simulations and the
delivery of the cosmetic cases that will follow.
The seminar's purpose is to focus less
on the details of a digital system (but provide enough info to
get started) and more on the end results that will justify the
use of such a system in the dentist's office.
Included in this seminar are detailed descriptions
of Dr. Goldstein's restorative and cosmetic techniques. Click

ESSENTIAL ANTERIOR DENTISTRY:
DIGITAL
IMAGE TO FINISHED CASE
This full-day seminar presents a detailed
overview of current day cosmetic dentistry techniques based upon
Dr. Goldstein's Dentistry Today article, "Cosmetic Dentistry
Video Roundup," as well as his own clinical experiences.
Attention is paid to a methodology from
Smile Vision (Templates for Success) that takes the guesswork
out of delivering anterior dentistry as well as basic digital
photographic methodology needed to participate in the process.
A unique method of placing direct composite
veneers minus the stress of hand sculpting is presented in still
slide and movie format.
This seminar is an excellent "re-entry" for
the practitioner having drifted away from anterior dentistry
or for those wishing for greater involvement. Click

THE ABC'S OF BRUXISM: RECOGNITION,
INTERVENTION, AND RESTORATION
The focus of this presentation will be to create a team driven
comfort zone when diagnosing and recommending restorative treatment
needs generated by excessive wear. Such treatment needs, often
confused with elective cosmetic dentistry, exist in abundance
in everyone's dental practice.
These patients can be helped so long as the "eyes and ears" of
the practice, the dental hygienist, recognizes the need for care
and the doctor is prepared to offer a remedy.
Fostering a team driven approach can be compared to basketball's "alley-oop" as
the well prepared hygienist tosses the ball over the hoop enabling
the doctor to slam home the case. Click
